Shinwa is my signature edit. The look I kept coming back to after years of studying Billy Dinh's teal-heavy street work, Monaris's dark controlled portraits, and Roger Deakins's obsessive management of light and shadow. It's not a recreation of any of them — it's a synthesis of what I took from all three.
Teal shadows. Warm highlights. Crushed blacks. It's not trying to be realistic — it's trying to capture how a city feels when you're standing in it at the right hour.
This isn't a neutral starting point you build on. It has a point of view. If you shoot people, markets, streets — and you want your whole portfolio to feel like it came from one eye — this is the preset for that.
